Dhurnal is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Families here grow wheat and groundnut, and many have members serving in the army or working abroad.

Dhurnal is about 32 km in a straight line from Islamabad airport, 49 km from Rawalpindi, 51 km from Talagang and 52 km from Chakwal city. An office of Allama Iqbal Open University is located near the village, and Zia Academy was the first private school in this area, opening the way for others.
