This is Jatli.

Jatli (also spelt Jatly) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, on the dry, ravined Potohar plateau with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line it is about 38 km from Chakwal city, 30 km from Dhudial and 44 km from Rawalpindi. Families here farm wheat and groundnut on rain-fed land, and many have members serving in the army or working abroad.

Tradition holds that Jatli's foundation was laid by a man named Jatal. The land was later given to Rai Dalla for his bravery, and afterwards Akbar Khan and Mohabbat Khan took possession of it. The village is mainly held by Suryavanshi Thathaal Rajputs, who trace their origin to Kashmir.

The village's full story, with its families and memories, is still to be told by its own people.
