This is Kahut.

Kahut is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, on the Potohar plateau. In straight-line distance, Dhudial is about 10 km away, Chakwal city about 20 km, and the Katas Raj temples and Choa Saidan Shah about 32 km each.

The land is dry and ravined, with wheat and groundnut grown on rain-fed fields and the Salt Range rising to the south. Many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad, and the village stays close to all of them.

The name Kahut is also carried by an agricultural Jutt tribe with deep roots in this part of Chakwal. The village's own story, of its families and its everyday life, is still to be told by its people.
