Mardial, also spelt Muradial, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry, ravined ground where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are the crops of this region, and the Salt Range rises to the south.
