This is Qutbal.
Qutbal (also spelt Kutbal or Kutbāl) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 40 km from Chakwal city, 31 km from Dhudial and 51 km from Rawalpindi. The Katas Raj temples are about 52 km away in a straight line.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land cut by ravines, where farming depends on rain. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
This page is a place for the people of Qutbal to add the village's own story. What is written here is only the basics, and the rest is still to be told by those who know it best.
