Darot, also spelt Daroti, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 22 km from Talagang and 31 km from Lawa. The Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 51 km away.
Darot sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines with the Salt Range to the south. Farming here depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are grown on rain-fed land.
