This is Dhok Mago.
Dhok Mago is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies in the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
The wider area is known for wheat and groundnut farming, which depends on the rains. Like many families in the region, households here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
In straight-line distance, Dhok Mago is about 40 km from Dhudial, 44 km from Choa Saidan Shah, 45 km from the Malot temple and 46 km from the Katas Raj temples. The full story of Dhok Mago, its families and its years, is still to be told by the people who know it best.
