This is Dhok Raja Bashir.
Dhok Raja Bashir, also spelt Dhok Saloi, is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. Its name is written two ways, and both are used by the people who know it.
The village belongs to the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Across this part of the Potohar, many families have members in the army or working abroad.
In straight-line distance, Dhudial is 42 km away, Choa Saidan Shah 46 km, the Malot temple 47 km and the Katas Raj temples 48 km. The full story of Dhok Raja Bashir, its families and its fields is still to be told, and it is for its own people to tell it.
