This is Dhok Tehi.
Dhok Tehi is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 6 km from Talagang and about 46 km from Chakwal city. The M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange is about 37 km away, and Kallar Kahar lake about 38 km.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land cut by ravines, where farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south.
As across much of the Potohar, many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Tehi, its families and its days, is still to be told by its own people, and this page is a place to begin.
