Chhapri Bair (also spelt Chhopri Ber) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south.
In a straight line, the village is about 32 km from Choa Saidan Shah and Malot temple, 34 km from Dandot in the Salt Range, and 35 km from the Katas Raj temples.
Farming on the plateau centres on wheat and groundnut, and many families across the area have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own full story, its families and its days, is still to be told by its people, and this page is an invitation to tell it.
