Goharwala, also spelt Ghuranwala or Ghurānwāla, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Talagang and Lawa are each about 29 km away in a straight line, and the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange is about 58 km away.
Across this plateau, farming is largely wheat and groundnut, grown on rain alone, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. Kallar Kahar lake lies about 59 km away.
